Jake Guzan completed a BS and BFA at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois in 2014 and was awarded the Dow P. Mitchell Endowed Scholarship for 2011-2014. While at Bradley University, he served as a Letterpress/Book Arts Assistant in the Gold Quoin Press, as Press Assistant to Oscar Gillespie, as Art Editor of Broadside Literary & Arts Journal, and as an intern at the Backspace Collective Gallery. Guzan has exhibited at The Prairie Center of the Arts, Heuser Art Center, and Union Street Gallery, and has been featured online in articles regarding his work at the Gold Quoin Press. He is currently an MFA candidate at West Virginia University, in Morgantown, WV, teaching drawing.
